Fun-A-Day in the Bay 2013 Submission Guide
Thank you for making something for the Fun-A-Day in the Bay show! We're excited to see all the awesome stuff you made--here's how to get it into the show:
The deadline to get your work to us is Tuesday, January 29th at 8pm.
You will need to drop off or have your project delivered to the gallery by then, or have contacted us in advance to make an alternate plan.
If you would like to perform part of your project at the show, please let us know ASAP.
We will show ALL the work we receive as long as it pertains to the theme of the show, it is appropriate for an all ages event and it is received by the deadline.
Of course, we will be super careful with your stuff, but all projects must be submitted with a waiver of liability for any accidental damage to your work
. The waiver will be available at the drop-off date. You can also use the Printable Version
. You will also need to sign a contract with Rock Paper Scissors which deals with art sales and other details about the gallery. Your art will not be displayed without a waiver!
The waiver also includes information about gallery commission so you can set a price for your artwork
How To Submit Your Work
- Drop it off in person or have a friend drop it off for you. Drop off times are Monday, January 28th or Tuesday, January 29th, between 1pm and 8pm, at Rock Paper Scissors, 2278 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA.
- Mail it to: Artclash West, c/o Rock Paper Scissors, 2278 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA, 94612. We must receive your project by Tuesday, January 29th for inclusion in the show. And don't forget to send it with a WAIVER!
- Make an alternate plan with us; we'll be as flexible as we can. Email to make that plan.
