The idea is simple: pick an art project, do it every day in January, and show your work in a group art show in February! Fun-A-Day is always FREE, NON-COMMERCIAL, NON-JURIED, and ALL-AGES. Everyone is invited to participate, the only requirement is to HAVE FUN ;)

In previous years, artists across the globe chose a project (take a photograph, make the bed, draw a picture, bake a cake, sing a song, etc.) to do every day in January (or in some places, different months!) There is no wrong way to do Fun-A-Day, the goal is to be creative and HAVE FUN!

Fun-A-Day was started by a group of artists known as the artclash collective in West Philadelphia. Through the years Fun-A-Day has spread to other cities throughout the world! Thousands of artists have created millions of pieces of art for the Fun-A-Day project since its inception. We encourage anyone with a creative spirit to give it a try, because MAKING ART CAN BE FUN!
